Visit of the Chancellor on 29 June: Notice

The Vice-Chancellor gives notice, in accordance with Regulation 3 for Academical Dress (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 184), that Tuesday, 29 June, is to be a 'scarlet' day, and he requests that Doctors in the several Faculties wear their festal gowns that day. He further requests that the University flag be flown on 28 and 29 June from University buildings having flagpoles.

Members of the University are reminded that the days of General Admission to Degrees (25 and 26 June 1999) are also 'scarlet' days.
