The College intends to appoint a Director of Development with overall responsibility for its Development Programme and with specific responsibility for a major gifts programme aimed at raising money for Library development and other core academic objectives. The person appointed will be an experienced fund-raiser with a proven record of success who can support the objectives of an academic community with enthusiasm.
The salary will be in the range of £35,000 to £45,000 a year, depending on experience and track record. Further particulars can be obtained by writing to the Principal, Newnham College, Cambridge, CB3 9DF. The closing date for applications is 17 May 1999.
