Graces submitted to the Regent House on 6 May 1999

The Council submit the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 115) will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 14 May 1999.

1. That the recommendations contained in paragraph 5 of the Report, dated 24 February 1999, of the General Board on the establishment of a second Professorship of Chemical Engineering (Reporter, p. 477) be approved.

2. That the recommendations contained in paragraph 4 of the Report, dated 10 March 1999, of the General Board on the re-establishment of the Sheila Joan Smith Professorship of Immunology (Reporter, p. 478) be approved.
