JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

The College intends to award up to four Junior Research Fellowships, tenable in College from 1 October 1999, to Graduate Students registered for the Ph.D. Degree. One shall be designated the Sir Desmond Lee Research Fellowship. The Fellowships will normally be awarded for two years after successful completion of the first year of study, but consideration may be given to applicants with exceptional academic records at the beginning of their research project. Junior Research Fellows will receive a grant of £800 a year and will be entitled to certain dining privileges. Single accommodation will be available in the College at the standard rate.

Applications should be made by letter to the Senior Tutor, Hughes Hall, Cambridge, CB1 2EW, enclosing a curriculum vitae and the names of two referees. Completed applications should arrive not later than 21 May 1999 and should include a clear outline of the applicant's current research.
