The regulations for the Certificate in Education (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 278) have been amended as set out below. These amendments are consequential on the changes, announced above, in the examination for Part II of the Education Tripos. The regulations have been amended, with effect from 1 October 1999, as follows:
Regulation 1.
By inserting after the words 'who has taken Part II of the Education Tripos' the words ', having offered scheme (A) in that examination,'.
Regulation 9.
By replacing the words 'who has satisfied the Examiners in practical teaching ability' by the words 'who has satisfied the requirements of Regulation 1'.
