Faculty of Social and Political Sciences

TWO TEMPORARY ASSISTANT LECTURERS (HALF-TIME) IN SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY AND DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY

Applications are invited for two Temporary Assistant Lectureships in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. Each post will be half-time for nine months from 1 October 1999 until 30 June 2000. As these posts are intended to replace University Lecturers on sabbatical leave they are strictly for this fixed term.

For one post, applicants should have expertise in social psychology, particularly in the general field of social cognition, and, for the other post, they should have expertise in developmental psychology, particularly in the fields of family and gender. The appointments will be made on the University Assistant Lecturer scale at a stipend of between £16,655 and £21,815 pro rata a year, depending on age and experience.
