Clare College with Emmanuel College

COLLEGE LECTURER IN ECONOMICS

Clare College, in association with Emmanuel College, wishes to appoint a College Lecturer in Economics, from 1 October 1999 for a term of three years. The post carries a Fellowship at Clare College, and involves the direction of studies in Economics at Clare College, undergraduate teaching of up to twelve hours a week (shared between the two Colleges), and related administrative duties. There is no restriction of subject, but an ability to teach macroeconomics would be especially useful. The successful candidate will also be expected to show strong research potential.

The stipend is on the University Assistant Lecturer scale of £16,655-£21,815 a year, with a supplement for direction of studies.

Further particulars are available from the Senior Tutor's Secretary, Clare College, Cambridge, CB2 1TL (tel. 01223 333246, e-mail aw235@cam.ac.uk). Applications, including a curriculum vitae and the names of two referees, should be sent to her, so as to reach her not later than 30 March 1999.
