Judge Institute of Management Studies

Applications are invited for the following fixed-term Lectureships:

INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT (ONE-YEAR)

A one-year Lectureship in international business and management is available from 1 October 1999. The position arises because of the need to cover Faculty leave. The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. Degree in business/management or international economics (or expect to complete the Ph.D. Degree by October 1999), with strength in the field of international and cross-cultural management. The position calls for an individual with excellent teaching abilities and a record of scholarship commensurate with the number of years since completion of the Ph.D. Teaching opportunities include required and elective M.B.A. courses in international business and management, and graduate and undergraduate project supervision. An academic foundation and teaching strength in strategy, marketing, or organizational behaviour is highly desirable. The position may suit someone who has leave from their main employer, as well as anyone currently seeking employment.

ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOUR (SIX-MONTH)

A six-month Lectureship in organizational behaviour is available from 1 October 1999. The position arises because of the need to cover Faculty leave. The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. Degree in organizational behaviour or a related discipline, such as human resource management, sociology, or psychology (or expect to complete the Ph.D. Degree by October 1999), along with relevant teaching experience at undergraduate and M.B.A. levels. The position may suit a visitor who has leave from their main employer, as well as someone currently seeking employment.
