TEMPORARY ASSISTANT LECTURER

The Faculty is seeking to appoint a Temporary Assistant Lecturer for one year, from 1 October 1999, as a replacement for Dr Stefan Collini who has been awarded a British Academy Senior Research Fellowship (the Thank Offering to Britain Fellowship). The person appointed will be required to offer teaching in the area of intellectual history and English literature from the eighteenth century to the present, especially the history of moral and critical thought. The appointment is for one year and is not renewable. The stipend payable will be £17,570 (Point 2 on the University's Assistant Lecturer scale).
