University College

FELLOW IN ECONOMICS

University College expects to appoint a fixed-term Fellow in Economics from 1 October 1999 to 31 December 2003, to replace Dr Mark Taylor during his tenure of the Directorship of the ESRC Macroeconomics Research Programme. The Fellow will be required to teach for an average of twelve hours a week during Full Term, in the fields of macroeconomics, international economics, econometrics, and possibly financial economics, and to share in the organization and administration of the subject. The salary will be in the range £16,655 to £20,107, depending on age and experience, and there will be certain further allowances.

Any candidate who has already applied for the University Lectureship in Economics in association with University College, and who also wishes to be considered for this post, should so inform the College Secretary, but a further full application will not be required.
