Applications are invited for the temporary post of World Wide Web Project Officer in the University Library. Candidates, normally graduates, will be expected to have the expertise necessary to develop and maintain a University Library web server running under Apache. Familiarity with Unix system administration, especially Linux, would be an advantage, as would a knowledge of Perl scripting and digital manipulation. The pensionable stipend for this post is £15,735-£21,815 a year. It is hoped to make an appointment, which will be for up to three years, at the earliest possible date.
