St Hilda's College

PEACOCK TUTORIAL FELLOWSHIP IN CHEMISTRY AND LECTURERSHIP IN MOLECULAR SCIENCES

Applications are invited for the above post, which is based in the Oxford Centre for Molecular Sciences (OCMS), with effect from 1 October 1999. The person appointed will be employed by the College, whose Statutes (made under the Oxford and Cambridge Act 1923) provide that all Fellows must be women. The stipend will be according to age on the scale £19,826 to £37,113 a year. A start-up grant is available. The successful candidate will have carried out advanced research in a field of chemistry relevant to the research programme of OCMS.

Eight copies of the application (one only for overseas candidates), which should include a curriculum vitae, summary of research interests, listing of publications (please star five most important publications), and quote reference PEACOCK, should arrive by 18 January 1999. Applicants should also give the names of three referees and ask them to write to Professor Dobson, c/o the OCMS Administrator, by the same date.

VISITING FELLOWSHIPS FOR WOMEN TEACHERS

St Hilda's College invites applications for two Visiting Fellowships, one tenable in Hilary (Spring) Term 2000 and one in Trinity (Summer) Term 2000. The College Statutes made under the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge Act 1923 provide that all Fellows must be women. Candidates for a Fellowship must be practising teachers engaged in sixth-form work in either schools or colleges.
