Stanton Lectureship in the Philosophy of Religion: Notice

Applications are invited for the Stanton Lectureship in the Philosophy of Religion for a period of one, two, or three years beginning on 1 October 1999. The person appointed will be expected to deliver in each year between four and eight lectures, or the equivalent in classes and seminars. The gross salary of the Lecturer is a portion of the income of the Stanton endowment, and is expected to be about £1,500 a year. The University follows an equal opportunities policy.

Applicants should send a curriculum vitae, and a statement of the subjects on which they would lecture, indicating also whether their course would extend over one, two, or three academical years, to Mr M. J. Hughes, M.A., Secretary to the Electors, University Registry, The Old Schools, Cambridge, CB2 1TN, so as to reach him not later than 22 January 1999.
