Graces submitted to the Regent House on 18 November 1998

The Council submit the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 115), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 27 November 1998.

1. That the recommendations contained in paragraph 6 of the Report, dated 21 October 1998, of the General Board on the establishment of a Professorship of Neurological Genetics (Reporter, p. 91) be approved.

2. That the recommendations contained in paragraph 4 of the Report, dated 21 October 1998, of the General Board on the establishment of a Kuwait Professorship of Number Theory and Algebra (Reporter, p. 92) be approved.

3. That the regulations for the Local Examinations Syndicate be amended as follows:

Regulation 11.

By amending sub-paragraph (f) so as to read:

(f)	to make donations from time to time, subject to the approval of the Council, to the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust, the Cambridge Overseas Trust, and other trusts established by the University to raise funds for the support of students from overseas studying in the University;¹
