Historical Society

Professor Olwen Hufton, Leverhulme Research Professor at the University of Oxford, will give a talk on Poverty, morality and the purse: funding the Counter-Reformation at the 334th meeting of the Cambridge Historical Society at 5.20 p.m. on Tuesday, 10 November, in the Churchill Archives Centre Reading Room, Churchill College. Prospective members are welcome, and tea will be available in the Buttery at 5 p.m. There will be a small display of documents from the Churchill Archives.
