The 1998 GKN Lecture in Management will be given by Dame Bridget Ogilvie, who will speak to the title The management of medical research and its funding. The speaker is the former Director of the Wellcome Trust, the largest private resource of research funding in the UK. The lecture will take place in the Benson Hall, Magdalene College at 6 p.m. on Thursday, 26 November, and is expected to finish by 7.15 p.m. Application for tickets of admission by senior and junior members of the University and their guests is welcomed and should be made to the Praelector's Secretary at the College.
