Elementary Japanese for scientists: A. J. Pressland Fund

The Managers of the A. J. Pressland Fund plan to finance a series of weekly tutorials in the Lent Term 1999 for scientists wishing to learn to read elementary Japanese. They invite applications by 20 November 1998 from students wishing to take part in the tutorials. Applicants will be expected to have undertaken some study of Japanese during the current term.

Application forms may be obtained from the Enquiry Point at the Language Centre, Sidgwick Avenue. Information about other opportunities available for studying Japanese within the University is available from the Language Centre. Information is also given on the Language Centre web-site (http://www.langcen.cam.ac.uk/).
