FIXED-TERM LECTURESHIP IN EXPERIMENTAL PARTICLE PHYSICS

Applications are invited for a three-year fixed-term Lectureship in Experimental Particle Physics at the Cavendish Laboratory from 1 January 1999. The successful candidate will carry out research within the Cambridge group's experimental programme; OPAL, NA48, ATLAS, and LHCb at CERN, with new initiatives also under discussion. Teaching duties, including lecturing, allow time for active research.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. Degree in experimental particle physics. The starting salary is in a range up to £24,591 a year. The post is pensionable.
