COLLEGE ACCOUNTANT

The College wishes to appoint a College Accountant to take up duties as soon as possible. The College Accountant has overall responsibility for the preparation of College accounts, covering both internal and external activities, together with the oversight and performance of related administrative tasks. The successful candidate will also play a major part in the development of budgeting and related control systems within a set framework. The College is currently upgrading its computerized accounting system and the College Accountant will be expected to contribute to the installation and execution of this facility. Candidates should therefore be suitably experienced in this field. Applicants will be expected to be fully qualified accountants from one of the leading accountancy bodies.

The stipend for the appointment will be in the region of £30,000 a year, depending on age and experience, and is pensionable.
