The Anglo-Danish Society

THE ANGLO-DANISH SCHOLARSHIPS - ACADEMIC YEAR 1999-2000

The Anglo-Danish Society invites applications from postgraduates or undergraduates in their last year of university of Danish nationality for Scholarships tenable at universities in the United Kingdom, or other approved institution (candidates' first degree should be from a Danish University) and of British nationality for studying in Denmark.

The Scholarships, which are intended only to be a supplement to students' own income, will run for a period of up to six months from the beginning of the next academic year, or such other date as might be approved. Each is valued at £175 per month.

Successful applicants will be required to submit a report on the work undertaken to the Society.

Study and residential arrangements are the responsibility of the student.

Application forms are available from the Secretary of the Anglo-Danish Society, 'Danewood', 4 Daleside, Gerrards Cross, Bucks, SL9 7JF, England (tel. 01753 884846), between 1 October and 31 December, and the closing date for acceptance is 12 January. THE DENMARK LIBERATION SCHOLARSHIPS - ACADEMIC YEAR 1999-2000

The Anglo-Danish Society invites applications from graduates of British nationality for scholarships tenable at Copenhagen, Aarhus, or Odense Universities, or other approved institution.

The scholarships will run for a minimum period of six months from the beginning of the next academic year or such other date as might be approved.

There is one major scholarship for a mid-career applicant to the value of £9,000 and other scholarships to the value of £6,000 each.

Successful applicants will be required to submit a report on the work undertaken to the Society.

Study and residential arrangements are the responsibility of the student.
