Philosophical Society

At a meeting held on 20 July 1998 in the Arts School, Dr A. J. Munro, President, was in the Chair. Nineteen Fellows were elected.

Research Studentships have been awarded to Mr P. J. Baldwin, CL, Miss S. Baudoux, R, Mr S. Butchart, F, Miss R. Carson, CAI, Mr C. Giannakopoulos, HH, Mr J. C. Martinez Garcia, CC, Miss M. Murthy, CHU, Mr M. Simunovic, M, Mr G. Singh, DAR, and Mr C. G. Stewart, CAI.

Travel Grants amounting to £1,450 have been awarded to Fellows of the Society.
