Regulations for Examinations: Notice by the General Board
The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:
Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic Tripos
The following supplementary regulation has been approved for Paper 3 of Part II of the Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic Tripos (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 230):
Paper 3. A subject in Celtic history specified by the Faculty Board of English
An advanced topic in the history and civilization of the Celtic-speaking peoples from the fourth century to the twelfth. Candidates will be required to use primary sources in the original languages or in translation.
