Department of Linguistics: Notice

An interdisciplinary meeting on Genes, Languages, and Peoples (sponsored by the Linguistics Association of Great Britain and the Genetical Society) will be held at Selwyn College on Saturday, 5 September 1998. The speakers are Guido Barbujani, Robert Foley and Daniel Nettle, Roger Lass, Svante Paabo, Don Ringe, Merritt Ruhlen, and Antonio Torroni. The meeting is open to all, but pre-registration is essential (£35 including lunch).
