Engineering Tripos, Part IIA, and Electrical and Information Sciences Tripos, Part I
The supplementary regulations for Part IIA of the Engineering Tripos and Part I of the Electrical and Information Sciences Tripos (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 290) have been amended, with effect from 1 October 1998, as follows:
Papers G8 and G9
By amending the regulations so as to read:
Paper G8. Thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
The paper shall consist mainly of questions on incompressible flow, boundary layer flows, and applications to external flows.
Paper G9. Fluid mechanics
The paper shall consist mainly of questions on compressible flows, numerical fluid mechanics, and flow in turbomachinery.
