ASSISTANT INFORMATION MANAGER (TEMPORARY, HALF-TIME)

An Assistant Information Manager is required to take up appointment as soon as possible. The job involves helping to run the well-resourced information service for five mornings a week. Candidates should possess a degree and relevant work experience, be imaginative, with good organization and communication skills, have a liking for young people, and be adept at coping with pressure (over 3,000 users in busy weeks). You must have competent IT skills including the use of spreadsheets. Experience in the management and presentation of information would be an advantage.

The appointment will be for a limited period of between 9 and 12 months. The pensionable salary is on a scale from £17,958 to £23,241 a year (currently under review). The person appointed will be paid at the appropriate point of the scale (determined by age) on a pro rata basis.
