NUFFIELD PROFESSORSHIP OF PATHOLOGY

The electors intend to proceed to an election to the newly established Nuffield Professorship of Pathology with effect from as early a date as may be arranged.

The Professor will be medically qualified and have a proven track record in teaching, in research, and in his or her clinical speciality, namely histopathology, cytopathology, or cell analysis. The successful applicant's research interest should focus on the molecular aspects of disease processes.

A non-stipendiary Fellowship at Pembroke College is attached to the Professorship.

Applications (twelve copies, or one only from overseas candidates), naming three persons who have agreed to act as referees on this occasion, should be received not later than 7 September 1998 by the Registrar, University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford, OX1 2JD, from whom further particulars may be obtained (e-mail professorships@admin.ox.ac.uk).
