RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AND SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

Applications are invited for two appointments under the Leverhulme-funded programme on Business Failure, Industrial Organization, and Macroeconomic Instability.

Research Fellow in the Centre for Business Research to work on a project entitled Insolvency and Stakeholding. The aim of the project is to examine the impact of insolvency laws on corporate stakeholders. The successful candidate will have both a first degree and a postgraduate qualification or equivalent research experience, and should be familiar with the economics of law. Applications are welcome from graduates in either Law or Economics. The appointment will be for two years from 1 October 1998, on the salary scale £16,927-£21,016 a year (currently under review). Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Applied Economics to work on a project entitled Macroeconomic Instability and Business Failure. This is a senior appointment, partly supported by Deloitte & Touche; applicants must provide evidence of research experience in the relevant area. A Fellowship at Corpus Christi College, to be held in conjunction with the Senior Research Fellowship, may be available for a suitably qualified candidate. The appointment will be for three years from 1 October 1998, on the salary scale £19,371-£27,985 a year (currently under review). Further details are available from Ms M.
