COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN FRENCH

The College intends to appoint a College Lecturer and Fellow in French with effect from 1 October 1998 or as soon as possible thereafter. The stipend will be on the scale £15,159-£21,016 (under review) a year, together with the usual privileges of a Fellowship. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the range of undergraduate courses, but applications are invited from candidates with research interests in any field of French studies. Preference may be given to candidates with an interest in francophone or film studies. The post will be tenable for three years.

Applications, including a curriculum vitae, a statement of research, and the names of two referees, should be sent to the Senior Tutor, Trinity Hall, Cambridge, CB2 1TJ, from whom further details may be obtained, by 4 July 1998; it is expected that the College will hold interviews on 14 July. Candidates should ask their referees to write direct to the Senior Tutor by the closing date.
