Clinical Medicine. Professor Richard Hynes, F.R.S., Director, Center for Cancer Research, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will deliver the Sackler Distinguished Lecture, 1998, entitled Cell adhesion in health and disease at 5 p.m. on Monday, 29 June, in the William Harvey Lecture Theatre, School of Clinical Medicine, Addenbrooke's Hospital, Hills Road.
Judge Institute of Management Studies. The ninth University of Cambridge Arthur Andersen Lecture will be given by Mrs Marjorie Scardino, Chief Executive of Pearson plc, at 5.30 p.m. on Thursday, 2 July, in the Judge Institute, Trumpington Street. Mrs Scardino will be talking on a theme of combining commercial and creative abilities in an international media group.
