Faculty of Divinity: Conference

A conference of the French Cultural Delegation on The Papacy in the Age of Dictators will take place from 9.30 a.m. to 5.15 p.m. on Saturday, 13 June, in The Parlour, Magdalene College. All are welcome.

10.45 a.m. Dr D. M. Thompson (Cambridge), Pius IX and the temporal power.
11.45 a.m. Professor J. Pollard (Anglia Polytechnic University), The Conclave of 1914.
2.15 p.m. Professor Y.-M. Hilaire (Lille III), Pius XI and the nationalisms.
3.15 p.m. Professor M. Agostino (Bordeaux III), The Italian and Spanish Churches and the fascisms.
