(vi) a candidate who offers one paper and a dissertation under sub-paragraph (b)(2) above may not include among the papers to be offered in the examination more than one paper which has been specified by the Faculty Board under Regulation 18.

Regulation 24.

 By replacing proviso (v) by the following two provisos:

(v) a candidate who offers four papers under sub-paragraph (a) or sub-paragraph (c) above may not include among the papers to be offered in the examination more than two papers which have been specified by the Faculty Board under Regulation 18;
(vi) a candidate who offers three papers and a dissertation under sub-paragraph (b) above may not include among the papers to be offered in the examination more than one paper which has been specified by the Faculty Board under Regulation 18.

The supplementary regulations for the Theological and Religious Studies Tripos (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 400) have also been amended, with effect from the same date, as follows:

For this paper the Board will prescribe two subjects, A and B, on Christianity and one or more other religions. The Board may from time to time prescribe texts for special study. The examination for Paper 36A will consist of the submission of two essays in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 19.
