Fitzwilliam College

FELLOWSHIP AND COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN MATHEMATICS

Fitzwilliam College invites applications for a Fellowship and College Lectureship in Mathematics from 1 October 1998. The appointment, which is open to men and women, will be for a period of three years in the first instance, with the possibility of reappointment for two additional periods of two and three years. The person appointed would also hold the Directorship of Studies in Mathematics at Fitzwilliam College and be required to teach undergraduates for the Cambridge Mathematical Tripos. The College follows an equal opportunities policy. It will not restrict its consideration to applicants seeking a full-time appointment; applications for part-time (or job share) appointments will be welcomed.

The pensionable stipend of a College Lecturer will be at a point in the range of £16,045 to £21,016 a year (UAL scale, currently under review), depending on age and experience, with an additional emolument for the Directorship of Studies.
