Norris-Hulse Professorship of Divinity: Notice

The Board of Electors to the Norris-Hulse Professorship of Divinity invite applications for this Professorship from persons whose work is in the field of philosophical theology. The Professorship will become vacant from 1 October 1999 on the retirement of Professor N. L. A. Lash. The appointment will be subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the University. The University follows an equal opportunities policy.

The present pensionable stipend for a Professor is £41,288 a year.

Candidates for the Professorship should send their applications, marked 'Confidential', together with the names of two referees, to the Secretary General of the Faculties, from whom further information is available, at the University Offices, The Old Schools, Cambridge, CB2 1TT, so as to reach him not later than 30 May 1998.
