THE MASTERSHIP
The Fellows of Fitzwilliam College will be proceeding in the coming months to the election of a Head of the College, to succeed the present Master, Professor Alan Cuthbert, F.R.S., who retires in the summer of 1999. The Mastership is open equally to women and men. Any person who wishes to be considered for this post is invited to write in confidence, by 24 April 1998, to The President (Professor A. E. Bottoms), Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, CB3 0DG. The President would also greatly welcome suggestions from third parties of names of suitable persons whom the Fellows might consider. Further particulars are available on application to the President's Secretary.
