Trinity Hall

The College intends to appoint a College Lecturer and Fellow in English with effect from 1 October 1998 or as soon as possible thereafter. The stipend would be on the scale £15,159-£21,016 (under review) a year, together with the usual privileges of a Fellowship. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the range of undergraduate courses, but applications are invited from candidates with research interests in any field of English studies. The post will be tenable for three years in the first instance, with the possibility of extension for a further two years.

Applications, including a curriculum vitae, a statement of research, and the names of two referees, should be sent to the Senior Tutor, Trinity Hall, Cambridge, CB2 1TJ, from whom further details may be obtained, by 21 April 1998; it is expected that the College will hold interviews in the first week of May. Candidates should ask their referees to write direct to the Senior Tutor by the closing date.
