Clare College


The College seeks to appoint a friendly and efficient person to run conferences and co-ordinate major events in the College. The successful candidate will be expected to work full-time during July to September and for twenty-five hours a week the rest of the year; there will be some weekend and evening work. The salary, subject to periodic review, is at Point 9 on the University's Administrative Scale (approximately £13,500 a year for these hours). This high-profile, challenging appointment calls for excellent marketing and organizational skills and experience, self-motivation, computer literacy, and maturity.


The College seeks to appoint a mature, efficient and experienced person with excellent organizational and communication skills to take over from the present Head Porter who retires in June, The salary for this post is set at University C/S grade 6.5 at a current salary of about £19,600 a year.
