DR LEE'S PROFESSORSHIP OF CHEMISTRY

The electors intend to proceed to an election to Dr Lee's Professorship of Chemistry with effect from 1 October 1999, when the office falls vacant on the retirement of Professor J. P. Simons, F.R.S. The University is seeking candidates in the field of Physical Chemistry interpreted in its broadest sense.

A non-stipendiary fellowship at Exeter College is attached to the Professorship.

Applications (ten copies, or one only from overseas candidates), naming three persons who have agreed to act as referees on this occasion, should be received not later than 27 April 1998 by the Registrar, University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford, OX1 2JD, from whom further particulars may be obtained.
