LECTURERSHIP IN PHILOSOPHY
The College proposes to appoint a stipendiary Lecturer in Philosophy for two years from 1 October 1998 (with a possibility of extension for one further year). The Lecturer will be expected to teach ten hours a week and to assist in directing undergraduates' reading courses which include Philosophy. The Lecturer will be paid on the stipendiary Lecturers' scale, at present £11,895 a year, rising to £12,633 in the second year.
