A festival of Chinese films will be held in the Kaetsu Lecture Theatre at New Hall on 6-7 March.

8.15 p.m.	The wild flower (1982), a short animated graduation film, followed by
	Yellow earth (1985), dir. Chen Kaige, the first 'New Wave' film

5 p.m.	Two stage sisters (1953), a classic of 1950s Chinese cinema
9 p.m.	Red sorghum (1988), dir. Zhang Yimou (in the Long Room)
