Social and Political Sciences Tripos, Part II, 1998: Notice
On the recommendation of the Faculty Board of Social and Political Sciences, the General Board have agreed to permit Ms J. Waddell, of Emmanuel College, to offer Paper 17A, 'State and society in developing countries', in the examination for Part II of the Social and Political Sciences Tripos in 1998. Until 1997 the examination included a paper under that title, which has since been discontinued. Ms Waddell was originally entered for the 1997 examination, in which she intended to offer that paper, but she was subsequently given leave to degrade and did not sit the examination. Arrangements have already been approved for the paper to be specially set for another candidate in 1998 (see the General Board's Notice, Reporter, 1996-97, p. 657).
