HUBERT SEYMOUR GARLAND DARKE, M.A., M.Litt., former University Lecturer in Persian, and former Fellow of Wolfson College, died on Friday, 6 February, aged 78 years.
Professor Sir HARRY HINSLEY, O.B.E., M.A., F.B.A., Fellow of St John's College, former Master of St John's College and Vice-Chancellor, Emeritus Professor of the History of International Relations, died on Monday, 16 February 1998, aged 79 years.
