RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

The College proposes to award up to six non-stipendiary Research Fellowships tenable for three years from 1 October 1998 and renewable for a further period of two years. The Fellowships will be without limitation as to subject and there will be no age limit although candidates must have obtained a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent qualification within the last ten years or expect to be awarded one by 1 October 1998. The Research Fellows will be members of the Governing Body, eligible to sit on College Committees, and will be expected to play an active role in College life. They will be entitled to the normal privileges of Fellows and financial support may be available when attending meetings as participants and towards expenses associated with their research.

Applications should be sent to Dr J. T. Dingle, President, Hughes Hall, Cambridge, CB1 2EW, by 15 April 1998 together with a curriculum vitae, the names of three referees, a statement of not more than 1,000 words outlining present and future research, and details of the applicant's present and expected means of financial support.
