PROFESSORSHIP OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES

The electors intend to proceed to an election to the Professorship of Management Studies, with effect from 1 October 1998 or such later date as may be arranged.

A non-stipendiary Fellowship at Templeton College is attached to the Professorship.

The Professor will occupy a senior position in the newly established Said Business School and participate in the development of a major initiative in business education in Oxford. There is no restriction as to field, and candidates from disciplines which relate to business, as well as experienced business school teachers, will be considered.

Applications (ten copies, or one only from overseas candidates), naming three persons who have agreed to act as referees on this occasion, should be received not later than 30 March 1998 by the Registrar, University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford, OX1 2JD, from whom further particulars may be obtained.

READERSHIP IN ECONOMIC HISTORY

The electors intend to proceed to an election to the Readership in Economic History with effect from 1 October 1998 or such later date as may be arranged.

A non-stipendiary Fellowship at either St Hilda's College or All Souls College is attached to the Readership, under arrangements described in the further particulars.

Applications (twelve copies, or one only from overseas candidates), naming three persons who have agreed to act as referees on this occasion, should be received not later than 6 April 1998 by the Registrar, University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford, OX1 2JD, from whom further particulars may be obtained.
