The judges of the John Kinsella and Tracy Ryan Poetry Prize have much pleasure in announcing the winners of the 1997-98 prize. They have been greatly impressed with the evidence of the extent of activity and depth of quality among the student poets in Cambridge and, after much deliberation, have concluded that two poems were of such high quality that the prize should be split equally between both. Therefore, the joint winners are:
