Philosophical Society

On Monday, 2 February 1998 at 8.30 p.m. in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, New Museums Site, Professor William A. Harris, of the Department of Anatomy, will deliver a lecture entitled Assembling the neural substratum of vision. All who are interested are invited. There will be a short business meeting before the lecture.

At a meeting held on 19 January 1998 in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, New Museums Site, Dr A. J. Munro, President, was in the Chair.

Professor T. J. Pedley, F.R.S., delivered the G. I. Taylor Lecture entitled Bioconvection: pattern formation among swimming micro-organisms. A vote of thanks was moved by Professor D. G. Crighton, F.R.S.
