FACULTY LECTURERSHIP IN GERMAN

Applications are invited for the above post, tenable from 1 October 1998. The successful candidate will have teaching and research interests in the modern period of German literature i.e. eighteenth-twentieth centuries; applications from those with expertise in nineteenth-century studies are particularly welcome. University salary according to age is on the scale £12,486-£17,928 a year. The successful candidate may be offered a Tutorial Fellowship by Keble College, and a stipendiary Lecturership by Trinity College, in which case the combined University and College salary would be according to age on a scale up to £35,754 a year. Additional College allowances may be available.
