Classical Tripos, Part II, 1998: Notice

The Faulty Board of Classics give notice that, with effect from the examination to be held in 1998, the form of the examination for Part II of the Classical Tripos will be changed as follows:

Paper E1. Elements of comparative linguistics

 Candidates will be required to answer three questions.

Paper E2. The Greek language

Paper E3. The Latin language

 In each of these papers candidates will be required to answer Question 1 and two other questions. Approximately one-third of the marks will be allocated to Question 1; the remainder of the marks will be divided equally between the other two questions.
