One-day symposium to celebrate the 80th birthday of Sir Andrew Huxley

THE MECHANISM OF MUSCLE CONTRACTION

(Supported by The Physiological Society)

This one-day symposium on the Mechanism of Muscle Contraction will be held in the Howard Building of Downing College on Saturday, 22 November, to celebrate the 80th birthday of Sir Andrew Huxley.

Programme

Starting at 9.30 a.m. there will be talks by Professor Martin Morad, of the University of Georgetown; Professor Lea Peachey, of the University of Pennsylvania; Dr Malcolm Irvine, of King's College London; Professor Yale Goldman, of the University of Pennsylvania; and Professor Vincenzo Lombardi, of the University of Florence. Registration
