Yad Vashem - The International Centre for Holocaust Studies

POST-DOCTORAL AND ADVANCED STUDY SCHOLARSHIP

The International Centre for Holocaust Studies of Yad Vashem was established in 1993 as an independent academic unit, in order to broaden and deepen the research work in the area of Holocaust in general, and to encourage post-doctoral and advanced research projects specifically.

The Centre invites academics with excellent qualifications to submit their candidacy for semestrial or annual scholarships in Holocaust research. Scholarships will be granted to both post-doctoral researchers at the beginning of their career, and to well-established senior academics in the field, for either one, or two, not necessarily consecutive semesters. The emolument will be equivalent to the salary of the candidate, in accordance with his or her academic standing.

Applications for 1998-99 should be submitted by 31 December 1997.

Further details and application forms are available from the University Registry.
