Graces submitted to the Regent House on 15 October 1997

The Council submit the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 113) will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 24 October 1997.

1. That the regulations for the Kettle's Yard Travel Fund be amended as follows:

Regulation 5.

 By deleting the second sentence.

Regulation 6(a).

 By replacing the words 'the calendar year in which it is paid' by the words 'the calendar year next following that in which the awards are announced'.1

2. That, on the recommendation of the General Board, the Sir Patrick Sheehy Professorship of International Relations be assigned to the Faculty of History for the tenure of Professor J. B. L. Mayall.2
